The caring professionals at the Chesnie Cooper Education and Remediation Centre (CCERC) in Toronto are Central Auditory Processing Disorder specialists and experts in defining individual learning patterns. Our Toronto CAPD testing and remediation centre is staffed by acknowledged leaders in the identification and remediation of one of the major causes of learning difficulties.
For over 30 years, our unique methodology, known as dEcode® has enabled hundreds of students to successfully learn all varieties of subject matter - from the basics of reading, writing, spelling, and math calculations, to solving complex math and science problems. For the students, this is often a life-changing experience. They are empowered to learn how to learn.
These goals are achieved through remediation. Remediation is not tutoring. Remediation teaches the student to learn by addressing their underlying processing needs. It doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen.
